My Morning Flow

What makes me see rainbows and butterflies? Healthy food and exercise! This duo is what makes my engine purr like a kitten. Please understand I find pleasure in convienence and comfort as much as the next person. What I try to do is make diet and fitness, easily satisfying.

A daily walk with my dog gets my head right. Fresh air and sun mixed with my favorite playlist and I am off to a good start. I used to commit to an hour long walk in my neighborhood. Now, I take Jemma to the park, throw the ball and  make my way home when ever I feel like it. This usually takes about twenty minutes. I get a burst of endorphins, vitamin D and I make my dogs day in twenty minutes. Winning! I get home and I hear Jemma slurping up water and I remember to hydrate. Thanks girl πŸΆπŸ’§. 

My strength comes from Yoga or any other work out class. I love having Beachbody on Demand. I push play and I am on day 5 of my 21 day yoga retreat class. These trainers have taught me a lot in a few weeks. I hear their voices when I am slouching or letting my gut stick out. I am on fire, thank you BOD!

Food for me is simple. I eat a plant based diet. I love chocolate and I don't let food make me feel "bad" anymore. If I indulge with pizza or overeat Chinese food I sip some tea and forget about it. I can not let myself stress out over something I wanted anymore. I just have to make it fun. Now I am ready for breakfast. Talk to you later.
